Ever since I was a toddler, I enjoyed being creative. My mother would set me up at a table with a colouring book and crayons and I wouldn't move for hours.
My love of the arts only grew from colouring and by the time I reached highschool I was an avid graphite drawer. I entered into the acclaimed art program at H.B.Beal Secondary School, where my skills in drawing were honed and where I found my niche in painting on canvas.
I was also first introduced to pinhole photography in this program. Although this was the simplest form of photography (a box with a hole), it was so exciting to view my surroundings as a potential subject. I started to really notice lines and shapes and I was particularily intrigued with the play between light and shadow. While I was still heavily into both drawing and painting, my new found love stole my heart, and I decided then, to apply to one of the top post secondary schools for photography; Ryerson University.
The next 4 years, inspired my growth and knowledge for photography both as a business and as an art form and in 2011; immediately after graduation, I created "Ginzel Photography".
Throughout the years I have dabled in other genres of photography, and enjoy the differences of what they offer, but architecture became my favourite subject right from the beginning and this has not changed.
Nothing else quite gets my heart racing as a gorgeous building, with awesome lighting so much so, that I find myself photographing architecture all the time.

"Photography is an art of
it has little to do with the things you see,
and everything to do with the way you see them."
