The Rec Room Masonville

I recently completed photographing the new, exciting addition to North London’s community; The Rec Room! For this project, I was primarily focusing on interior photography.

I was so excited to capture these images. I absolutely LOVE photographing restaurants. It’s quite a lot of prep work, but the ambiance is incredible!

This project was split into several shoots over a few days. I really wanted to get the best shots I could, so I used many advanced lighting and flagging techniques to create and block light. I opted for less, stellar shots, vs an abundance of “good” ones. This is often what I prefer but sometimes I wish I could squeeze more in because usually there’s so many areas of interest that grab my attention! It’s hard to let them go.

The staff were fantastic to work around while I moved chairs, tables, etc. It couldn’t have worked out better! If you’re into delicious food and a wide selection of entertainment from VR, to axe throwing to live bands and karaoke, you should make a trip here!

It’s a guaranteed good time.
